Connect with the Maryland Arts Community

MCA's well-decorated exhibitor tent at the 2010 Artscape festival. The weekend was intensely hot, but a good time was had by all attendees nonetheless!

MCA enjoyed the Baltimore-Hon-themed program design at the Americans for the Arts Half-Century Summit held in Baltimore in June of 2010.

MCA staff and board members attended a surprise event organized by the State Arts Council to celebrate outgoing Council President E. Scott Johnson. A wonderful time was had by all!

MCA organized a panel of testimony and drew a significant portion of this crowd to Annapolis to show the support the Arts has in the state. These meetings are very long and very crowded! However, they are a key part of the legislative process - a chance for citizens to speak directly to the committees making decisions which affect the lives of people across our state.

Liz Lerman, legendary choreographer and founder of the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, gave the keynote address at the 2010 Maryland Arts Day on February 9th.
