Maryland Arts Day 2005 a Success!
Maryland Arts Day 2005 was a huge success. Hundreds of arts leaders and supporters from around the state joined forces in Annapolis on February 2nd to promote state support of the arts and arts education. Participants met with legislators, listened to panel discussions about the changing cultural, legislative, and economic challenges facing the arts, and enjoyed closing remarks by DBED Secretary Aris Melissaratos and Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr.
