The largest gathering of arts advocates in Maryland each year! Please join us for the Annual Maryland Arts Day on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012.

This is a public Budget Bill Hearing for an important sub-committee of the Senate Committee on Budget and Taxation. The Sub-Committee on Education, Business, and Administration will hear comments on the budget for the Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED). 

The MSAC appropriation represents only a portion of DBED's budget, and there will be other items on the agenda for the hearing as well. MCA will coordinate the efforts of our grassroots arts supporters so that Maryland's Arts community is well-represented in the short time we will have to present the case for the Arts.

The date and time of this hearing is subject to change. If you would like to participate by attending the hearing (we need to have a strong showing of arts supporters present in the room!), please contact Erin Harrison.
